The Super Neighborhood Council focuses on long-range issues designed to make Kingwood a more attractive, enjoyable and healthy place to live, work and play.
We encourage all residents and stakeholders to participate in this process so that all Kingwood area residents can benefit.
Each calendar year, we develop recommendations that we send to the City and our District E Council Member for incorporation into a multi-year capital improvement plan. We thus can present ideas to the City of Houston and speak as one. We also work closely with representatives from Harris County, Montgomery County, TxDOT, METRO, Union Pacific, and others.
Thanks to these individuals and groups, four major projects that the Kingwood Super Neighborhood Council advocated have become realities:

- The widening of North Park Drive to four lanes between West Lake Houston Parkway and Mills Branch
- Construction of a new larger library
- Construction of a new community center
- Numerous mobility improvements including turn lanes and coordination of traffic lights on thoroughfares
